In 2019, I graduated from the University of Falmouth with a degree in textile design. My chosen discipline is mixed media - all to do with the stitch. My studio is based in Cornwall where my designs are inspired by nature and the rolling oceans.

My creations are handcrafted from found objects that tell a story, generally industrial plastics, which are then salvaged and reused to make intriguing eco-textiles for interiors and wall installations.

Once I have a design, I source sustainable materials such as 100% wool felt, organic cotton and rPET threads which are made from 100% recycled PET bottles. These materials are then designed to sit alongside various plastic netting which have ceased to function in the building and horticultural industry. My ethical approach to all my unique and innovative designs is created for people who care about the planet. I believe in helping to keep plastics out of our oceans, soils and the air that we breathe and contribute to a better circular economy.

"As an Interior Designer, I have been blown away by Jo Hague’s creative talent.  Not only is her raison d’être commendable, but she has worked meticulously with these raw materials to create beautifully composed, textured and aesthetically desirable artwork installations.  Good luck Jo with your on-line project.  I am sure you will grace many homes with your wonderful works of art in the future !”
