The inspiration for this design is taken from holidays on the Isles of Scilly. Carn is a Cornish dialect word meaning a pile of rocks (used as a word and also as a place-name element, in use after the year 1800, from Cornish language karn). You will find varioius size carns on the beaches and bays where people have spent many happy hours building them with their families.

Every piece of artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a sample of materials showing how the artwork has evolved.
